A great day today with over 33 people attending our Ladies, juniors and new shooters afternoon. This will be happening every 4th Saturday of the month from 1pm until 4pm. So if you want to bring someone new into the sport head on down, their first visit is free ( does not include clay target shooting ) and then normal fees apply.
SSAA Wodonga are excited to announce that 5 Stand has arrived. At this point due to restrictions we can only offer practice but bookings are available from this Sunday 10am via the page.
Cost is $10 for 25 clays

17 Sep 2017 – One of our competitors for today in the Lever Action Mr Rob Marks shows the rest of us how it’s done. Rob scored 211/250 and is showing us how to shoot open sights at 100m.

Today we had 12 juniors at our come and try day. Spectators who were behind the fireing line were giving some enthusiastic encouragement. The start of the day involved a safety and handling briefing before juniors were able to handle firearms.
Big thanks to Michael Wilkinson, Anthony Chamberlain and Faith Porter for assisting with today’s event.
It’s been said many times before but club members stepping up to assist is what makes the sport grow. People like these kids would not be able to have a go unless volunteers step up to allow it.

Yesterday we held our Annual Schools Shooting Competition. This year over 100 licensed students from eight different schools competed in the finals event. Students were given the chance to qualify for there schools team which then competed in the final event.
Major sponsors included NIOA, Elks Hunting and Fishing Albury and Impact Trading Wodonga. Events included were 50m Benchrest, 40m Metallic Sillhouettes, 50m TurningTarget, 50m Biathlon and 5 Stand Shotgun which was run and organised by our friends at Wodonga Albury Field and Game.

24 Mar 2017 – Progression of the wall between the multi purpose range and the 300m range.
23 Mar 2017 – The wall between our multi purpose range and the 300m range is nearing completion. We are aiming for a wall height of 4m between ranges. This will allow for Running target, Biathlon and Metallic Sillhouettes to be shot at the same time as main range operation.
This range will be widened, floor levelled and target line and fireing lines improved.
The range is open as usual this Sunday.
